Eva Simons may be the biggest sensation you've never heard of; but if you don't know her name yet, you soon will. This month, Eurochannel presents the explosive Dutch pop sensation, Eva Simons. A true child of the modern age, Simons began her incredible career through the internet. Soon, however, she took the European pop scene by storm with her hit single Silly Boy. Eurochannel is pleased to show the music video for this incredible song, and to introduce any newcomers to the next big thing in pop music.

Born in Amsterdam on March 17th, 1985, Eva Simons gained popularity after she won a 2004 reality competition to form Raffish, an all-girl group. The group released an album, How Raffish Are You? and two singles: Thursday's Child and Let Go.

Five years later, she continued to pursue a solo career with her song Silly Boy which caught the eye of many people on YouTube and turned her into a musical phenomenon. The internet can be fickle, and rumors soon circulated that this rising star had been collaborating with Rihanna and Lady Gaga. These uncontrolled rumors angered the pop star, but she took them in stride and continued her career, releasing an official music video for her song in 2009, and becoming more than just an internet phenomenon.
