Dogs Five-Star Hotel (Natale a 4 zampe, 2012)
Director: Paolo Costella
Sara and Luca are in love and have a plan for their future: the best hotel for dogs the world has ever seen. With no option but to ask their parents for help to make it happen, things go from bad to worse because the families are as different as chalk and cheese. Eurochannel premieres a family comedy to make you laugh from beginning to end: Dogs Five-Star Hotel!
An uplifting family treat, Dogs Five-Star Hotel tells a story of dreams, love, bonding and true friendship. It all starts when a couple decide to pursue a one-of-a-kind project, building an upscale hotel for dogs! The tricky bit is funding ― no bank would finance or believe in their idea.
On the verge of giving up, a pet-loving bank manager agrees to give them the money but asks that the couple’s parents guarantee the loan payment. What could be a dream-come-true situation turns into a hilarious madness when their parents meet. Now the couple not only fights for a dream but to stay together.
Through the trademark Italian humor and the outstanding interpretations of some of the biggest names of Italian comedy like Massimo Boldi, Dogs Five-Star Hotel proves nothing is impossible to achieve when love and family comes to the rescue. With its uplifting message, this production is also a reminder that the greatness of humanity can be judged by the way we treat our animals.
Sara (Lucrezia Piaggio) and Luca (Andrea Montovoli) have the brilliant idea of opening a "4-legged hotel in a well-known Piedmontese ski resort. In a short time their idea turns into an extraordinary success and are literally invaded by dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets and parrots… But their parents will sabotage everything with their clumsy attitude!
