Emma Marrone was born to be an artist. Influenced by her musical father – a professional guitarist and member of the band Karadreon – Emma was in constant contact with music since the day she was born. Following in her father’s steps in 2003, she joined and won the Italian version of the TV worldwide sensation: Popstars. Italy’s newest pop sensation was now ringing the alarms.
After some failed band projects, Emma realized she should get back to her roots. Starting from zero as a solo artist in 2009, she took part again in a TV music contest for the show Amici di Maria De Filippi. Once again, she stole the attention of the public as well as judges and won. But it was in 2012 when Marrone made it took tItaly by storm as she claimed the winning prize of Big Artist at the renowned San Remo Music Festival.

Biography:After working with several bands, she won the Italian talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi in March 2010, and signed a contract with record label Universal Music. On February 18, 2012, she won first place at the annual televised San Remo Music Festival 2012 with her song “Non è l'inferno.” She has recorded one EP, three studio albums, and 15 singles, and received two Multiplatinum, 14 Platinum discs, and two Gold discs
