Interview with Saija Lentonen (Satu) How did you prepare for the character of Satu? I watched couple of thrillers director Engström recommended me to get some feel of the genre. Then I read the script several times to catch every detail of Satu, especially facts such as age, family-relations and so on. Being Finland a strong country regarding mobile brands, with one of the most important, how did the public react to the film? Can't really remember any kind of bigger public opinion. The film portrays a kind of conspiracy, is the film based entirely on fiction or has it some actual facts base? As far as I know, it's pure fiction. What did you find most challenging of playing Satu? The film was done seven years ago, so you have to forgive my poor memory on this subject. I can tell that in my opinion, I'm not at my best at NDA. Maybe it was because we did only one year earlier a long TV-series with the same director and me as a leading character. Do you think mobiles can be as dangerous as in the film? As a matter of fact I do! Why is so important for Satu to know what happens with her ex-colleague after she left the newspaper for a corporate communications job? Sorry, can't remember! Are you involved in any filming projects at the moment? I have a six week old baby boy and a four year old girl so I'm in a maternity break at the moment. Next I will work on stage, but hopefully there will be a good film role for me in near future! |
