Under the Tuscan Sun Written, produced, and directed by Audrey Wells, Under the Tuscan Sun is a romantic movie based on Frances Mayes' 1996 memoir of the same name. The movie tells the story of a recently divorced writer who buys a villa in Tuscany on a whim, hoping it will lead to her life’s transformation. Received with positive reviews by the critics, the film was nominated for the Art Directors Guild Excellence in Production Design Award, and Diane Lane received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actress. |

To Rome With Love Set in Rome and released in 2012, To Rome With Love is a romantic comedy directed by Woody Allen, who also stars. The story is told in four separate chapters that evolve around their main characters: a clerk who wakes up to find himself a celebrity, an architect who takes a trip back to the street he lived on as a student, a young couple on their honeymoon, and an Italian funeral director whose uncanny singing ability enraptures his soon to be in-law. The movie includes an A-list cast with renowned actors such as Alec Baldwin, Roberto Benigni, Penélope Cruz, Judy Davis, and Ellen Page. The Postman Directed by Michael Radford, this movie tells the fictional story in which the real-life Chilean poet Pablo Neruda forms a relationship with Mario, a simple postman who learns to love poetry. The two become friends and Neruda helps the shy and clumsy Mario win the heart of Beatrice, the beautiful waitress at the village’s inn, by showing him the beauty and power of poetry. The film was filmed on the island of Procida, in the gulf of Naples, and partially on the island of Salina, on the volcanic Aeolian Island chain off the north coast of Sicily. |
