Gjergj Kalaja contrasts Areg's dogged, single-minded determination. Where Areg has been involved with film and the arts since his childhood, Kalaja began his studies in Foreign Languages and Journalism. However, he soon stumbled upon his true calling, Film, and has not looked back since. At the age of 24, he has served on the jury of the 2009 International Film Festival of Tirana, directed countless short films and documentaries, including The Tunnel (2008), a spectacular film that appears as part of Eurochannel's lineup.
