Armenian Azatyan Areg began his career at the tender age of 17, when he presented a film at the International Film Festival of Rotterdam. This marked him as the youngest Armenian director to ever take part in that event, but that is only one fraction of his rise to fame. Even before his debut, he wrote for literary magazines, published three books, and has since participated in numerous film festivals the world over, winning awards such as including the Ruben Sevak History Award from the Writers Union of Armenia. Now, at 22 years old, Areg is set to take the world of cinema by storm.
