Synopsis: Attractions blossom in Tuscany at the end of the 18th century. Set in the country home of Eduardo and Carlotta (Marie Gillain). Things seem normal for the young couple, until they are visited one day by Ottone (Jean-Hugues Anglade) and Ottilia (Isabelle Huppert), another young pair with their own proclivities. As events transpire, the romantic tension mounts, and the blossoming, mutual attractions lead to a range of romantic entanglements.
