Directed by his granddaughter, Aurélie Wijnants, the production offers a balance between an intimate and a universal story.

This tender portrait of Christian de Duve follows his research career, the adventure of the Institute he created and his journey through science and life. The portrait of Christian de Duve, 1974 winner of the Nobel Prize in Medicine and founder of the De Duve Institute. The film is based on the year 1974 when the Belgian biochemist was honored. It follows his research career, his quest to create the Institute and his development as an author.
