Totally Personal is one of his first feature films as a director. "I want to make this film something that looks like me", said Nedzad Begovic about this funny and moving documentary. The director describes his life as an artist in Bosnia with a corrosive and self-deprecating sense of humor, while dealing with irony the tragedies of the past.

He shares his memories in a series of short plays: the first television, his perception of communism under Tito’s regime in Yugoslavia, and how it was to make this film with no money after the war.
Totally Personal was nominated in 2006 by the Association of Directors of Bosnia and Herzegovina as Best Foreign Film at the Oscars.
