Leon is in his mid-40s. He’s a good neighbour, a dedicated family man and a criminal mastermind. His sense of adventure and his love for his family is clear to see in his bright eyes, which show off his natural charm and hide his darker side.
Leon has an unusual talent for electronics. He has carved out a space for himself in the basement of Lulu’s house, and the two of them have an unspoken agreement that Lulu will never go down there. After all: both of them believe that what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her.
His life of crime started at the age of 10, when Leon completed his first real burglary. He bypassed a simple alarm at a summer home in Ishøj and scored 600 Danish krones for his trouble. He was hooked, and soon after Leon started his own gang. “The Mini Mob” stole, cheated and stirred up trouble throughout the 1970s until Leon’s mother and he was sent to an orphanage. Leon swore his own children would sometime live in a beautiful house and would not suffer or want for anything.
Leon loves and worships Lulu. He loves his son Jonathan, and he even loves Lulu’s daughter Isabella as if she were his own. He is very proud of her and has no doubt that in due time she’ll be an international rock star.
