The pretty blond has made a name for herself as the singer of many songs that brighten your day and as the host of a popular Finnish television program. Her Euromusic special will feature her most popular songs, including her hit, “Sunny Day”. As bright as the sunshine itself, Kristiina is not only a great singer, but also the current hostess of “Tilt.tv”. This bilingual artist and songwriter has also recorded many theme songs for movies.

Her Euromusic special will put joy in your heart with her infectious songs including her biggest hit, “Sunny Day”. It was on the air daily in the summer of 2008 and reached 6th place on the radio charts.

Biography:

Kristiina Wheeler was born in 1983 in the United Kingdom to an English father and a Finnish mother. They moved to Finland when Kristiina was six years old. Her introduction to music came when her parents put her in piano and guitar lessons but she later became inspired by Alanis Morissette and discovered her true love was songwriting and singing.

Her big break came in 2005 when she sang “You’ll Be Gone” on the soundtrack for the Finnish movie Tyttö sinä olet tähti (Girl You’re a Star).

In 2008, she released her first album, Hitchin to Helsinki. She followed this up with the singles “Annie and I”, “Rainy Helsinki” and “Wrong”. In 2010, she recorded her first Finnish single, “Kiitos kun muistit” which became the theme song for the movie Napapiirin sankarit (Heroes of the Arctic Circle).
