Synopsis:

This documentary begins with the origins of the Romanian composer, where viewers will see how his adolescence in Romania shaped his early masterpieces. His passion for classical music, Jazz, and the music of the cinema was with him even in those early days, and with the help of his family full of musicians, he journeyed to Paris to follow his dream. In 1963 he began his studies under Nadia Boulanger, and later under Michel Legrand; each mentor shaped his compositions and taught him more and more about the craft he loved so dearly. This documentary includes testimonials from Cosma’s most famous colleagues, including actors and directors like Jean-Jacques Beineix, Jean-Pierre Mocky, Claude Pinoteau, Pierre Richard and Roberto Alagna.
