Biography Matteo Pellegrini Born in Milan, Italy, Matteo attended film school in Milan and Bologna. From 1994-1997 he executed a series of short films which were highly acclaimed and won him various International awards. His music video portfolio includes work for highly regarded singers like Tiziano Ferro, Nek and Laura Pausini. He has been increasingly active in the Italian advertising scene in the last few years, rising to become one of the most sought after commercial directors in the Italian market. He has shot commercials for a range of clients including: Rai, Fiat, Ikea, Citroen, Telecom, Mastercard, Trony, Tele2, Trentino, Caritas, Sprite, Coop, Tribe by Breil, Lottomatica, Sky, Parmalat, Campari Soda, and Toyota. In February 2005 Shots magazine selected him as the most interesting director in the Italian market. He won a gold medal at the Epica 2006, one silver and four gold worldmedals at New York Festival 2004-05-06, the GranPrix Italia 2005 and in 2004 and 2005 was short listed at Cannes Film Festival. Matteo is represented for the French market by the English-French-Paris-based production company Stink who has an impressive roster of International talent on their books. Matteo has directed more than 125 campaigns in Italy and in the international market. |
