What if you found out about it after their death? This happens to a young bride in the two part miniseries Married to a Lie. She must not only cope with death but also realize that it could have been a blessing in disguise. Sonja is about to marry the love of her life, Kim, when he falls ill near their wedding date. His death following a trip to the hospital is devastating for Sonja until the autopsy reveals the first clues of a hidden life she had no idea her future husband was involved in. As she starts to discover more and more about Kim's secret life and true intentions, she realizes that the only way to cope with his death is by finding out more than she ever expected about the man she thought she loved. Synopsis: Somja (Laura Birn) is about to get married to Kim (Mikko Nousiainen). In the middle of the wedding preparations, Kim is suddenly taken ill, Sonja sets off to drive him to the hospital, is involved in a car crash, and Kim dies in the hospital. After she recovers from the worst trauma, Sonja starts to sort out the practicalities connected to Kim's death. It transpires that Kim had been lying to her about his entire life. |
