Eurochannel invites you to laugh at the hilarious efforts of a man trying to achieve his dream of playing rock'n'roll in his village and gaining the heart of the woman he loves in a comedy set sometime in the 1960s in the old Yugoslavia. Traktor, Love and Rock'n'Roll takes viewers to the Yugoslavian countryside and reveals an almost-forgotten past. By mixing the local manners and mores of the past behind the Iron Curtain with comical situations, the film delivers a reflection on how ridiculous some mind-settings can be seen by future generations. Directed by and starring Branko Djuric -- famous for his role in the Academy Award-winning No Man's Land -- Traktor, Love and Rock'n'Roll is more than a comedy. It is a love story played out by an exceptional cast including the stunning beauty Tanja Ribic, who represented Slovenia in the 2004 Eurovision contest, shines in a co-starring role. Eurochannel welcomes you to the traditional Slovenian countryside of the past to discover their way of life through the most hilarious happenings of a wanna-be rock star. Synopsis: Under the pressure of her father, Sylvia (Tanja Ribic) leaves Switzerland to go back to her village in Slovenia, in order to find herself a husband.
