Two innocent Belgian men attempt to clear their names, during a brutal fight for survival in what is undoubtedly the worst time of their lives. Welcome to Hell in Tangier!

Based partially on a true story, Hell in Tangier reveals the dark horror of foreign prisons for two Europeans. Far away from home comforts, human rights and European standards, Marcel and Wim, struggle to cope with their desperate and seemingly hopeless situation. Accused of drugs smuggling and convicted after an unfair trial, the two protagonists are sent to one of the toughest and most corrupt prisons in Tangier, Morocco.

A frank portrayal of the horrors suffered daily in prisons across the globe, the film shows the men struggle against the actions of an unknown criminal and corrupted system.
