Michelle & Michel's Boutique (La Boutique de Michelle et Michel, 2007) Director: David Jankowski The Show The show is filmed in a "homemade" studio, with a cheesy fake chimney. The studio, as a presenter's costumes, will also evolve to stick to the theme of the day. In this simple but charming environment, Michelle and Michel will present and sell the most ridiculous and out-there products. But as real pros, they believe in everything they sell, and so will you (or not). Michel, One word would be enough to describe him: serious. Originally from the South, Michel knows this job is the break of a lifetime after toiling away in cheesy local radio stations. Now in his forties, his hair thinning out, he is intent on doing this right! He is the kind of man who takes classic theatre lessons to work on his elocution for this show. That is why his colleague Michelle can get on his nerves, although he doesn't hesitate a second before handing her the worst chores of the show. Michelle, In her early thirties, sexy Michelle is a little bit overemotional, a turmoil of eccentricities and clumsiness. Totally unpredictable, she has a fondness for testing products and for her co-presenter, Michel, whose tackiness and old school behaviour make her melt. She is quite the naive one and has been known for quoting her mother a little too much.
