Mr Hulot´s Holiday (1953) - Jérôme  Deschamps & Macha Makajeff

Synopsis:

Mr Hulot’s Holidays is a comedy film starring and directed by Jacques Tati. It introduced the pipe-smoking, well-meaning but clumsy character of Monsieur Hulot, who appears in Tati's subsequent films. Monsieur Hulot goes on a holiday to a seaside resort, but accidents and misunderstandings follow him where ever he goes. The peace and quiet of the hotel guests don't last very long with Hulot around, because although his intensions are good, they always turn out catastrophically. Mr Hulot’s Holidays was restored by Jérôme Deschamps and Masha Makeïeff.
