The film was extremely awarded. In fact, in 2001, Roch Stephanik won the Best tournage prize at the Avignon Film Festival and the Best film award at the Buenos Aires International Festival while Dominique Blanc won as Best actress at the Cesar Awards France as well in 2000 at the Cairo International Film Festival. Besides, Roch Stephanik was also awarded with the First Film Special Distinction in the Montreal World Film Festival. Gerard (Patrick Catalifo) and Helene (Dominique Blanc) have decided to start a new life in Buenos Aires. They are waiting for their plane when Gerard tells Helene he is leaving her. He doesn't love her anymore and is going away on his own. Helene is in shock and doesn't take it in. Devastated, she tries to reason with him but he gets away from her. Helene remains at Orly airport, utterly lost. She wanders around the corridors, where one can spend an entire life. Soon she starts prostituting herself with the travellers in transit, awkwardly at first, then more recklessly. Prostitution without denigration while she waits for something to happen, for the day she will be someone else.
