On Eurochannel, tune in for the Second Eurochannel Short Films Tour, a tribute to the changing face of Europe. On this special occasion, you will enjoy a wealth of contemporary creation in the form of short films from allacross Europe.

Divided into three parts (Emotional Short Stories from the childhood, European Comedies, Eastern Europe Stories), this second edition enlarges Europe's borders. This special will take you not just through the European Union, but also through Eastern Europe, Russia, Turkey and The Balkans. Let Eurochannel take you on a tour to discover the great and diverse cultures ofEurope.

This festival allows a worldwide audience to appreciate a unique cinematic perspective which, until now, was only available to a limited audience. Nowthese cinematic visions may be viewed and appreciated by everybody.

Each of these films is a unique sample of its home country's most intimate,day-to-day moments. They show us how the people of Europe live, love and hate, revealed with taste and sensitivity. The short film is an artistic choice that many directors work with to express their talent, allowing for a unique style, pace and endless possibilities.

Each film chosen by Eurochannel is a view of today's Europe, a step closer to a greater cultural community. It is a chance for the directors to lay the foundations of a truly European creation.
